take care, tcb

I mentioned to my friend that my other friend Azu'car had gone to protest on campus, and how I wish I would have gone with her. My friend said that he can't believe that so much disrespect would be shown towards the Vice President from BYU students.

Regardless of what's going on politically (stuff of which I am nowhere near as informed regarding as Azu'car, nor do I keep up with it as much), I think there's a bigger point to be made.

Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels -- men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, we may never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.
-Dwight D. Eisenhower

Look, he's not my King, he's my employee. He works for us and it's high time we had a performance evaluation.

That is what I was trying to tell your friend when we had that discussion--it is not disrespectful, it is our legacy and our duty. Or Doody.
