I hope that Rae pours out her soda in honor of T again. And steals toys from the other sites to give to him. Because I think that he likes that the best.
Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by the morning dew, Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength With never a thought of fear or pride, It followed the light through the crevice's length And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing it's fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint and fall? Nay! Let us faith and hope receive- The rose still grows beyond the wall, Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forevermore.
Jenny, I was thinking of you. I knew it was around this time... Did you know that today is also the anniversary of the day we lost our baby? And it is the anniversary of Sei's cousin's loss at 37 weeks. Take care. You are in my thoughts.
I don't know you, and I rarely comment, but I wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss, and that I appreciated how you framed this post around the hope in the gospel, particularly in resurrection.
I don't know what to say, but I keep coming back to this post today to see that scene of Christ holding little Taylor. I hope it brings you some joy and hope today.
I wish I could give you a real hug. You are an amazing woman. I agree with wendy - I love the picture of Christ holding him. And we know that they're mature beings in heaven... perhaps he's watching over you? I'm thinking about you today. Hugs.
OK, I cried my eyes out and I don't even know you. That conference talk was excellent and a perfect title to your post. Sending you good thoughts and wishes from NC.
That was such a wonderful talk. I keep looking at your blog today as well. The picture is really touching. You guys are amazing and an inspiration to us all.

Dear Jenny,
There truly are no words...
But I still want to try tell you I'm so very sorry for your loss.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Dalene
Taylor and Quinn are playing football in heaven right now.
And studying Spanish so that Quinn can communicate with Papi.
Also Taylor is giving Quinn tips on how to survive a world full of sisters.
I can see it now.
Love you.

I wish I was there.
Sunday WILL come. The gospel truly is good news.
My thoughts will be with you today, my friend.
The Rose Beyond the Wall
Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it's fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive-
The rose still grows beyond the wall,
Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

PS. The poem Tara posted is the one a friend framed for me. And I in turn framed for Sei's cousin and a co-worker. I find it very comforting.
What a blessing it is to have the gospel to give us peace and hope.
My thoughts are with you this day.
Jenny,
I'm so sorry and I will be thinking of you, please take care.
Love, Kayla

:-) Sending love and hugs to the whole Eckton family this week.
I don't know what else to say.
Send Lorna Doones.
You are right. It's on its way. It feels like such a long wait, but it is coming. I'm crying with you right now.
