For the month of November I’ve decided to post each day
about a person or people who have influenced my life for good. There’s no way I
could include each and every person in one month or even one year, and for that
I hope you’ll forgive me. This year, especially, has brought an acute awareness
of the kindness and generosity which surrounds me and my kids, so here’s one
attempt at giving thanks.
5 – Kevin + Annie
These two. I tell you what.
They are two of the owners of Sodalicious, and I just can’t
say enough about how much I adore them, not only as individuals, but also as a couple. Just
the other night I saw them sitting on a couch at a friend’s house, and they had
me sit between them so we could all cuddle. (That’s mostly true.)
I actually met Annie years ago on the set of
something-or-other where she looked me up and down and gave me clothes to wear.
(I wish she’d do that for me every day, AMIRITE.) I always hoped to be sent to
Annie when I was on set. This process repeated itself a handful of times before I knew she was
Sodalicious.
Kevin’s funny and clever and also graduated from high school
in ’95, like me. Sometimes I’ll get an envelope from him with Smashing Pumpkins
lyrics written on it to start out my day. He’s a hard worker, a smart businessman, and a good
friend.
I love that picture of them. I think it was from the Neon
Trees concert at UVU in June. That was a good day, and I remember seeing them
there.

two. Thanks for simultaneously being All Business and Totally Cool. I’m so grateful for all you’ve done, and continue to do, for me and, well
(#NerdAlert) for Provo.

It's true. As nerdy as it may sound they do so much for the community and they are just the coolest people. I also adore them both. You are loved by great people.
