Last year I missed the ordering deadline and had to find them on my own. The girl scouts website will tell you when they are supposed to be at certain stores, but if they have run out of their stash- you have to drive to the next location.

I consider my case of Samoas as food storage. I'm with you on the rationing. Of course I did quickly down a box throughout day 1 of having them.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16652844973442258951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13871850.post-7684752297270483062010-03-04T11:11:30.049-07:002010-03-04T11:11:30.049-07:00Yes, I have them! She told me that in order to go door to door, they have to have an adult (until a certain age-then they have to go with two girl scouts) and they are only supposed to go to people they know. They also have to sell 100 boxes, which is why they set up shop outside stores and on corners. Just in case you were wondering.Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16841703245645190935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13871850.post-24602500789246416252010-02-25T20:15:34.638-07:002010-02-25T20:15:34.638-07:00I too, buy Samoas because I love them and can find...I too, buy Samoas because I love them and can find similar duplicates in the stores. I love tagalongs, but can only eat so many....for an indulgence I do better with thin mints.

Anyone on here who wants to order from Chloe, just email me.

Or, as someone else mentioned, I recommend looking up your local girl scout troop online. You can find out which businesses they will be at on which days. OR you can call the council and they'll put you in contact with a girl scout--usually an older (teenager) one who has a harder time selling cookies because she doesn't have a toothless grin. :)cabeshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11331933729883582763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13871850.post-88368844067405236542010-02-25T16:12:21.529-07:002010-02-25T16:12:21.529-07:00i buy stuff from kids, too. but i've never bee...i buy stuff from kids, too. but i've never been crazy over gs cookies. there must be something wrong with me.

but if you're into cookie dough, my daughter is currently selling that. i'm pretty sure we're just going to eat that right out of the tub.

yikes!compulsive writerhttp://compulsivewriter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13871850.post-30518202905208505342010-02-25T16:03:19.156-07:002010-02-25T16:03:19.156-07:00I also have a soft spot for kids selling things bu...I also have a soft spot for kids selling things but I'm beginning to think I need a new rule: Only buy from kids I know.
