Okay, maybe that was a bit much, but my point is this: I love New York City. In my other life, I live there. Lucky for me, I visited there twice this year. Maybe this is the reason so many of my dreams take place there.
The images and reports from the New York metropolitan and surrounding areas following Hurricane Sandy have been absolutely devastating. And it's still going on now. Right now. People are trying to recover their belongings, start a new life, many while mourning the loss of loved ones. And they're doing it as winter begins.
My friend Hailey asked me to share this video. I love the hopeful tone, the helpful tone. Work is being done. People are stepping up and helping however they can. The video is not only beautifully done, but I love seeing people living their religion (and, yes, I am a Mormon).
