House For Sale In Provo

"I love the flowers at the Brambles' house," I noted to li'l ~j. as we drove by.

"Me, too," she said, "They're really pretty."

"And I love that family," I added. I reflected on how much Catherine has helped my Bubby learn to stay in his seat during his primary class, and how much I adore having their 2 year old girl -- just days younger than my Atcha -- in Nursery class at church.

Two days later there was a For Sale sign in front of their house.

Sad to lose a wonderful family, but excited for their new and exciting opportunity Back East, I give you:

Love the house, it looks beautiful. I hope they sell to someone who takes as much loving care of it as they have!

But here's why it makes me want to cry: the size is great (about twice the size of mine), the price sounds reasonable (about twice the cost of mine), the taxes are...ABOUT A THIRD THE COST OF MINE!!! Thank you very much, great state of New York.

I would like to know precisely what I'm getting for my taxes that those of you in Utah aren't...cuz I'm just not seeing it. It looks beautiful. I love where I live, but damn...

So sad to loose good friends and neighbors. Loosing a good primary teacher who helps little ones sit still is ultra sad :(

I can't believe how much house you can get for under $250,000. You can't even buy a crappy little condo for that price out here in the Bay Area. Go Utah!
