best of this weekend

(click!)
Seeing a number on the scale that I haven't seen since well before Atcha was born seventeen months ago

Happy girl having a her birthday party a week early, and getting lots and lots of tickets with which to "purchase" lots and lots of "prizes"

Lunch date with Darin at sammy's (and with some FSU fans)

"For my birthday,

I want to go get a pedicure, Mom,

just me and you."

Um, where have you been all my life?

When I've run out of the Trader Joe's White Pomegranate, AND I've run out of Salada Green with Purple Antioxidants, this is perfect.

I'd been waiting months for this, and savored it like . . . well, like dark chocolate-covered pomegranate arils.

Middle of the night storm. Mas, por favor.

(all images bogarted from either the interwebs or from my blackberry)

Please to share YOUR best.

My kids did things that made me look like an awesome mom, causing me to cry happy tears 3 times this week. Plus I made it through all of Primary with Hubba not throwing anything at anyone today. (can today count?)

ooo... I am in the middle of Catching Fire right now!

You've raised her right if she wants a pedicure for her birthday! Good job, mom.

Whoops, apparently Nicole used James' computer while we were there. That last one was actually Me.

ooooh that book is on my list...

Can I borrow it tomorrow? I mean are you done yet? Sheesh.

Um anyway, best part of the weekend? It certainly wasn't sweating my arse off on the East side of the stadium while the cougs got their a.s.s.e.s. kicked. Why wasn't I surprised? Because they're the cougs.

Truly the best part was the walk tonight with my hubby and peanut. Him driving his toy car. Adorable.
