thank you and some sharin'

As always, I thank you all deeply for your sweet thoughts and well-wishes. I wish I could describe how comforting it is to feel supported in what always ends up being my most difficult time of year. As a mother I do everything I can for my children; what I can do for Taylor is limited since he's not here, and so I pay tribute as often as I can. By honoring and remembering him, I feel like I've done more. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support in this endeavor, and for your love in my life.

In other news . . .

Boogie asked what's next on Darin's resume. Starting on Monday, he'll be working at Argosy University in Draper. No, we're not moving (yet -- there's still hope!), and really it's not too bad of a commute: it takes him 25 (freeway) minutes to get there, and it took him 20 minutes to get across town to his former job. Again, we are thrilled with this change.

And, oh yeah, I guess I forgot to tell you about what we did a few weeks ago. It was so fun, and Haley is so amazing.

Stay tuned for next week's DEBATE WEEK. Your vote will count. Even in Utah.

I'm glad you were feeling the love last week. I can't imagine what you go through every year.

Beautiful family pictures! I love how you are clothing-coordinated, but not in an obsessive way. (does that make sense?) We are supposed to get our pictures done this weekend, which is of course supposed to be blustery. Drat.

Great family pictures which makes me anxious because we haven't taken any since 2 years ago and it's been on my mind. My kids won't be staying calm whenever we endeavor to take them.

You have such a lovely family! I don't know if you'll remember me, but Azucar says you will. In any case, I'm stopping my lurking around in the corners of your blog and letting you know that I've been thinking about you during the last few weeks. I wanted you to feel loved and cared for but thought that maybe it would come off awkward from someone you would perhaps not "know". I should have written sooner...there's a lesson about good intentions in this.
