the big change

Alright, alright, alright. I'm afraid that already too much anxiety/anticipation may have built over my quasi-announcement, so I'll let you in on the scoop:

My blog birthday is coming up.

According to my calculations, in blog years I'll be turning 2 on Friday. Now, turning 2 is no turning 30, but it's still a banner day, no?

In thinking about my blogging past, present and future, I came to a surprising realization: SOMETIMES, I HATE BLOGGING. No, it's true. Isn't that weird? I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say that I knew I had to make a decision: quit or don't. I knew it wasn't time to quit, so instead, I'm jumping in head-first and making my blog a daily. This means that I will post something everyday, at least Monday through Friday. I realized that I haven't been using blogging in a way that is helping me to develop my writing skills, so I'm changing that. I remember fondly my 10th grade English class which started each day with our assignment to just write -- for ten or fifteen minutes, about any subject of our choice. It made me a better writer. So that's what I'm going to do, starting on Friday. Each day, at least ten or fifteen minutes, writing and posting.

As always, I welcome your feedback. In fact, I'm also opening the request line: What do you want to hear about? More specifically, what kinds of things do you want to hear an opinion on from a girl from New York, calling Utah home? Need some advice from a stay-at-home-mom/college dropout? Here I am! I think it might be tricky, getting started, so if you have any ideas of what I should write about, please email me, or post a comment (or post a comment telling me you need my email address so you can send me an email).

I may change my template, colors, etc., but the main change will be in the content.

See you soon...when I'm 2.

Requests:
1. Write about how Perry Cox is your boyfriend.
2. Write about how awesome I am
3. Write about how Curly got maimed, again. (It is just a matter of time, you know.)

Worth the wait!

{standing 'O'}

(that is NOT 'o' for oprah, by the way.)
(however, coming into our homes at least M-F makes you similar to Oprah, I'm just sayin'.)

Whew! When you mentioned birthday I started getting tired just thinking of all the planning and work involved. (all worth it by the way)

I want to hear about how you have maintained all of your great friendships over the years. I get very jealous, especially when you call Courtney your best friend in front of my face! :)

What??? Do I have to have Courtney killed? she better start rubbing the lotion in her skin...

I more or less want to read anything you write. I've missed your posts.

Also I want to hear more about how you became a regular on a certain radio station and, most especially, how you came to be known as "Molly Mormon."

You probably could tell us how you really feel about La Queen the Op-rah!

And finally I am curious (in the kindest possible way) why you would label yourself as "stay-at-home-mom/college dropout". I guess because at the point in your life when I met you your college status didn't (and still doesn't) seem relevant to me as to who you are; but it must be relevant to you. Does that make any sense?

La Yen, wanna borrow my hose again?

(sidenote - I was asked once to name my favorite movie - I said Camalot and Silence o the lambs - I think those movies show the real me)

Seriously, she may have said it like "Courtney is like one of my best friends" but the knife still cuts deep.

Why you love or hate Utah.
Why you love or hate NY.
Good places to visit in NY or Utah.

If... you could live anywhere...do anything... where/what would it be?

Observations on behavior...

ANYTHING really... you are fascinating.

HOW do you cultivate and nurture all your relationships and stay sane?

Can't wait!

"How I Spent My Favorite Sumer Vacation"

Anything. You could write just a single word and we'd all come read it and call you witty.

Does anyone else but me lament the fact that once you are out of school the words "summer vacation" ring empty and become somewhat of an oxymoron?
